Knowledge and Action by the Power of the Holy Spirit
ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
We live in a time of great rationality, and rationality as a reflection of the strength of our spirits is a gift from God. However, rationality without Christian faith will lead to arrogance. Confusion resulting from such arrogance then further separates the world from God.
The vision for creating this Institute is to:
· Use rationality guided by faith and inspiration empowered by the Holy Spirit to oppose the growth of arrogant rationality
· Present the truth that can only be realized by Christians to a world trapped in chaos and darkness
· Strive to better understand and follow the will of God through prayers and studies
· Protect life and the spiritual well-being of others as an expression of Christian love
· Unite the churches of Christianity based on common understanding and commitment to faith
· Rejoice in the knowledge of God’s grace and unfolding plans
Clearly, our institute is dedicated to the Great Commission as directed by our Lord Jesus Christ and the understanding of Christianity as one body in Christ. Our use of scientific methods, worldly knowledge, and academic disciplines is always done in faith with shrewdness and gentility. Our actions are always motivated by love and compassion. And, our hopes are always directed toward God’s coming kingdom.
JOINING THE INSTITUTE
Membership in the Institute is open to all Christians and churches who seek to follow the teachings of discipleship in the Holy Bible (Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox versions). Participation in the Institute’s activities is further welcomed from all who wish to engage in dialogue about Christianity and the issues facing our church, science and the world.
